Majority paradigms available on the history of various sports agents either emphasize on agents who give poor advice, are their own representatives or they do not (due to dishonesty or ignorance) adhere to the existing legislation. Evidently there are some good agents as well, but why is it so tough to find any information on them?
The
key reason behind this is the natural tendency of humans to be more interested
in someone who has done wrong, than someone who does right. And thankfully, our
media leaves no stone unturned to focus on this to gratify their audiences’,
providing an overall negative perception.
What Should Be Done?
·
Better media relations
·
Agents should positively communicate
success stories
·
Sports should possess a clear set of values
to support their vision
·
Publicized community events sponsored by
agents
·
Agents should work in ethical, honest and
open way
