Slicing
is one of the most common problems that golfers will run into, and to make matters
worse finding a remedy can also be very frustrating. So here’s telling a few
tips that might come handy when fixing Golf slices:
Appropriate Setup
The
most common reason for golf slicing is erroneous setup. Therefore, the first
thing that you need to be sure is to get your body properly lined up with the
target. For this position, you must aim your left shoulder precisely above the
target and make sure that you hit the ball well in the target line.
Appropriate Gripping
This
is what most professional golfers insist upon, because it is surely the best
way to fix the concern of golf slice. For instance, if your grip shows about
three or more knuckles of your left gripping hand, it probably means that the
grip is incorrect. Moreover, the golf grip should never be too tight as it can
restrict the impact on the shot and consequently make the club swing to a
certain unwanted degree.
Another
reason for golf slice and inclined swing to a certain direction is the faulty
swinging motion of the body with the shot. The follow through of your body has
a vital role and impacts while striking the golf ball. Thus, it is advised to
finish your hit with a high swing and make your hips turn properly for a perfect follow through.

Golf
isn’t about strength; it’s a calculative amalgamation of power and
intelligence. Most golfers try to swing the clubs with power in order to cover
greater distance, but this can cause the club to miss the targeted portion and
result in a golf slice. The best to avoid this is to keep your head down and
over the target while swinging.

ReplyDeleteI had a slice for years and although these tips are valid , the biggest cause of my slicing was turning the shoulders too early in the downswing resulting in an 'out to in ' swing ., fix this and you are almost there .
