The semi-finals for the Gracie J’s League Cup went
on to achieve a nerve-racking finish as the Masons
made an impressive comeback against Premier side Vikings, making their way to
the finals.
At
the beginning of the semi finals, Masons took an early lead, but not before
Alan Oliver and Bob Allsworth pulled back things for the fourth round.
Although,
the fourth round of semi-finals was a low scoring game, there was tough
competition between Alan Lowe and Richard Garrett and resulted in a 2-2 draw.
The main lead for the winning side was Mick Murphy who made the way for Masons
beating two challengers from Vikings.
The
result meant that Masons will keep up the good pace and face off the Gladiators Club A in the finals.
