The Players Championship, one of the most prestigious
golfing tournaments embarked on 8th May at TPC
Sawgrass. However, the tournament will surely not be the same as before without
the participation of the top-ranked golfer Tiger Woods who is still suffering through
his personal and health problems from a long time. His absence will make the
competition an open race for any of top four players capable to take over his
title.
With
the title race wide open for the top fours, Adam Scott, Henrik Stenson, Bubba Watson
and Matt Kuchar, the tournament promises to have a thrilling championship race
this time. However, the top seeded
golfing legends showed some signs of disappointment with Woods absence and
contrasted the event with the master title of the previous season.
